Space Nebula oil on canvas

Todays Fresh Friday's pic is a small 8x10 oil on canvas I just finished. I was really good at painting space galaxies digitally on the computer as well as with an airbrush. This time I wanted to experiment using the Bob Ross wet on wet technique, to try paint a space nebula. The results were fairly good. The camera pic does not do it alot of justice since it is still wet & alot of the "shine" showed up. Once it is dry I will do a few small touch ups & use it as a background of a pin-up picture of one of my Comic Book characters that I am also working on.

Father's Day Serenity Retreat on Basswood
This is a painting in the Bob Ross Style that I finished a few days ago that I gave to my Dad  Today for Father's Day. it is Oil on Basswood aprox. 11x13. It was originally supposed to be a fishing painting for him but I just didn't have the courage to attempt the boat and fisherman. I will replace image with a high quality scanned image of it after it has dried and been varnished.
3rd Times aA Charm...(sort of)

Attempted a Bob Ross style winter scene today. Oil on 12x16 canvas (3rd attemp as attemps 1&2...well shall we say never saw the light of day...). Still learning his technique. All of his painting I've seen (& most winter paintings) you hardly ever see snow falling. So I tried to incorporate that into my painting. The results think it could use more contrast in light & dark & a little more detail in the shrubery but once I splattered the snow on, I committed to it. There is always next time.

Since it is really wet, I will sign it once it dries.

(Comments & critiques are always welcome)

Failure into Success
Update: 6/10/17....I have uploaded a scanned in version of this panting that replaced my camera shot.
Since I wasn't happy with my 1st attempt at a Bob Ross Style painting, I reworked some of it to what i feel looked more realistc and natural. I added better detail to the mountains, trees & the foreground. It's not perfect but My Mom loves it as it was a gift for her on Mother's Day. (12x16 Oil on Canvas)
Successful Failure...
My successfull failure at painting Bob Ross style. It is almost done but I am done painting it. Almost lost my temper, but i worked through most of it. The bottom part started to smudge and muddy up so thats when i said ok im done. Maybe next one will turn out better. Oil on 11x14 canvas (I might go back and add better highlights once it dries) Im giving it to my Mother for Mother's Day.
Inks over Webcomicfan's pencils
For "Fresh Friday" here is a .gif of My finished Digital Inks over pencils by artist pen-named webcomicfan. Getting more used to digital inking but more practice makes perfect....
Heart Key Tattoo
I normally don't do tattoo illustrations for people, but someone asked me to, so I did. They wanted me to make a heart shaped skeleton key and a rose with their names by it. They also gave me a picture of the tattoo they wanted. I tried make it my own piece without completely copying the artist. (I do not know the artist's name but I want to give them due credit for the original piece) Hopefully if I uploaded this correctly you can see the original tattoo design below.

original tattoo design by unknown artist
This is a picture I was commissioned by a friend. It was done entirely in Phtoshop CS5 using a Wacom Cintiq 13" HD Touch tablet.
Grandma Pensack
This is a caricature of my maternal Grandmother I have done on 11x14 3-Ply Bristol Board using blue pencil (for underneath sketch & foundation) and HB pencil lead holder. It was a gift for her for Christmas of 2016.
